VACAVILLE, Calif. — Travis Credit Union recently helped make the 90th anniversary of the city of Davis a memorable one.
Over 8,000 people browsed more than 135 booths showcasing retailers, service providers and nonprofit organizations including Travis CU during Celebrate Davis!
The event included live music, tasty food, cold beverages, plenty of games and entertainment for children and a 30-minute aerial fireworks display.
Visitors, who wanted to shop at the event, or purchase dinner for their families, had easy access to cash, thanks to the mobile ATM provided by Travis Credit Union.
The communitywide festival, presented by the Davis Chamber of Commerce, was designed to emphasize the benefits of living, working, playing and shopping in Davis. Admission was free.
"We know how important it is to support and recognize local businesses in the communities we serve," said Lila Dressen, Travis CU executive vice president. "Sponsoring and participating in the Celebrate Davis! festival is a great way to do that, as well as to re-acquaint ourselves and invite our neighbors to our Davis branch."
