LATHAM, N.Y. -- The New York Credit Union League has won threeawards for its communication efforts.

The three Awards of Excellence came in the categories ofMagazines and Journals; Marketing & Public Relations Campaigns;and Special Purpose Campaigns, Programs & Plans from the 19thAnnual APEX Awards for Publication Excellence.

The first award for Magazine & Journal--print piece over 32pages--recognized the league's quarterly four-color magazine,Connection. The publication is produced by the league's marketingand communications department.

The second award was for Covera Card Solution's ATM awarenesscampaign: At Home... Far Away... And Everywhere in Between. Thecampaign called attention to the availability of the CO-OPNetwork's 25,000-plus surcharge-free ATMs.

The New York Credit Union Foundation's Solutions to the YouthFinancial Literacy Puzzle Campaign, won NYSCUL's final Apex awardfor 2007. The full-color piece was designed to resemble a smallversion

of a five-subject spiral-bound notebook.
