SAN JOSE, Calif. — MShift Inc. can now do iPhone.
The San Jose-based provider of mobile banking software says it has released updates of its mobile banking engine to accommodate the mobile device just launched by Apple.
The iPhone's mobile browser allows users to access secure check images as well as account balances, bank statements, loan balances and other banking information through MShift technology.

"With our recent iPhone updates our mobile banking clients now have the best of both worlds: anytime, anywhere access to their financial data, optimized on a device that offers a unique browsing experience."
MShift provides mobile banking software for all mobile devices and carriers, the company says, and its list of client credit unions has doubled in the past 18 months to about 30, the company says.
