ALEXANDRIA, Va. — The Federal District Court for Eastern Virginia has set a date for the NCUA to reply to a legal complaint over its charter change regulations.

According to the court, NCUA has until September 10 to defend its regulations overseeing the process by which credit unions change their charters to mutual banks against a legal complaint filed by the Coalition for Credit Union Charter Options.

The banker led group filed a complaint against the agency on July 11.
