ALEXANDRIA, Va. — NCUA Board Member Gigi Hyland has announced that the registration is now open for the Aug. 15 Outreach Task Force Town Hall meeting in Denver, Colo.

"The Task Force has yet to make any decisions regarding the issues under consideration, so the discussions held during these meetings are essential to the deliberations of the Task Force," Hyland said. "The format of the meetings has proven to be very successful and allows for an open dialogue for all participants to share their voice regarding these issues." The Denver meeting will be the fifth of six planned meetings.

The next town hall is slated for July 16 in Los Angeles. The topics addressed during the meetings include NCUA programs and processes to encourage outreach to underserved communities; value of low-income designation; data collection on member income; and data collection on executive compensation.
