Everyone's Federal Credit Union, Vaughn, N.M., officially opened its Vaughn Branch with a ribbon cutting ceremony recently. The new credit union branch is located at the offices of ENMR Plateau Telecommunications, a cooperative that provides telephone and wireless services to towns in rural eastern New Mexico. The full-service branch includes a CU Anytime ATM outside the fron door and will soon offer commercial checking and many local business owners have expressed interest in signing up.
Kemba Credit Union, Cincinnati, Ohio, celebrated the opening of its newest branch located in Harrison. The branch is the ninth branch the CU has opened and serves the west side of Cincinnati. Board, staff and local dignitaries celebrated the opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony.
Centra Credit Union, Columbus, Ind., officially cut the ribbon on its new Greensburg facility. The branch moved from its previous location to the Greensburg Plaza. The ribbon cutting, part of a weeklong "Roll Out the Red Carpet" celebration, included remarks from President/CEO Loretta Burd, Branch Manager Margi Reitman, and Greensburg Mayor Frank Manus.

Arizona Federal Credit Union, Phoenix, recently celebrated the grand opening of its newest branch in Phoenix. The new branch enhances services said the credit union. The Radio Disney Street Team was on hand to provide nonstop entertainment for the kids including music, dancing, games and great giveaways. There was a rock wall along with hot dogs and cotton candy.
Desert Schools Federal Credit Union, Phoenix, celebrated the premieres of its 58th and 59th Arizona locations recently. One branch is located at a Wal-Mart and the other a Fry's Food & Drugs. The credit union says it plans to open five additional locations this year.
SAFE Credit Union, Lincoln, Calif., celebrated the grand opening of its 18th full service branch in Lincoln. During the event, kids had the opportunity to explore a fire truck and to pick up fire safety information from the Lincoln Fire Department. Plus, the Lincoln Police Department finger printed kids for free and provided safety information.
Evansville Teachers Federal Credit Union, Evansville, Ind., held a ribbon cutting ceremony in honor of the grand opening of the credit union's new office inside the Wal-Mart Supercenter in Henderson, Ky. The ribbon cutting ceremony included brief speeches welcoming the credit union to Henderson by several members of the Henderson-Henderson County Chamber of Commerce and Henderson Mayor Tom Davis. The CU also presented $500 to Henderson County Schools.
GEFCU, Kyle, Texas, recently opened a new branch location in the fast growing town of Kyle. Several local dignitaries joined Manager Alice Vela, EVP, Leilani Smith and Marketing Director Casey Bacon at the ribbon cutting event. This is GEFCU's eighth branch in the Greater Austin area.
Altura Credit Union, Riverside, Calif., recently broke ground on its 13th branch location in Riverside County, where it is headquartered. Members of the credit union staff turned the ceremonial first spade of dirt at the event. The 5,000 square foot branch, which will include a drive-up ATM, is expected to open later this year.
