SANTA CLARA, Calif. — KeyPoint Credit Union has become the latest financial institution to commit to the mobile online banking solution from MShift.
The $807 million CU (www.keypointcu.com) is calling its service Go KeyPoint and says it will allow its 72,000 members to use cell phones, smart phones and PDAs alike to access their accounts.
More than 6,000 different Internet devices and carriers can be used through the MShift connection with the credit union's Open Solutions Inc. host system, the CU says. Services include bill pay, fund transfers within KeyPoint accounts, transaction histories and the ability to check rates and locate branches and ATMs.

"As a financial institution serving thousands of young, smart, extremely mobile high tech employees, we need to support both their global life styles, and their desire to change carriers and equipment whenever they decide to do so without interrupting their access to their accounts," says Juli Anne Callis, KeyPoint's chief operating officer.
The credit union's mobile banking service logon is at http://go.keypointcu.com.
San Jose-based MShift (www.mshift.com) is a provider of mobile banking solutions to about 30 credit unions, as well as banks, insurance companies, brokerages and other organizations.
