EAST WINDSOR, N.J. — Shawn Gilfedder has been named president of McGraw-Hill Employees Federal Credit Union effective June 1.

Gilfedder succeeds Wayne Hudson, who retired on June 1 after 13 years as president. Gilfedder, the former CFO at MHEFCU, has held various positions throughout the financial industry over the past 15 years including as a strategist in the capital markets area at the Royal Bank of Canada.

"The board is confident that Shawn will continue the mission we have set forth for the credit union–to offer personal financial growth through our financial products and services to the membership at competitive prices," said Gail Miner, board chair. "We look forward to working with Shawn in his new role."

The $214 million MHEFCU serves more than 13,500 members, made up of employees of the McGraw-Hill companies and more than 40 select employee groups.
