MEDFORD, N.Y. — Robert Maimoni has been tapped to serve as interim president/CEO of Suffolk Federal Credit Union.

Maimoni, formerly executive vice president at the $673 million credit union, will serve at the helm until the position is filled later this year, according to Suffolk. Maimoni replaces Edward Boughal, who retired at the end of May.

The board is currently looking to fill the position permanently. Maimoni is among the applicants being considered.

Suffolk FCU serves more than 60,000 members.
