CLEVELAND — Last month, 36 credit union professionals from 14 law enforcement credit unions attended the fourth annual Police Officers' Credit Union Conference, sponsored by Corporate Central Credit Union and Corporate One Federal Credit Union.

Attendees discussed unique issues and opportunities related to serving their field of membership–police officers. Topics included disaster recovery, reverse mortgages, risk-based capital, defending and developing market share, cross-selling strategies and employee incentives.

"I personally enjoyed the educational opportunities where the smaller credit uions like mine can derive the same benefit as the larger ones. No matter the size, law enforcement credit unions all experience the same issues," said Darrell Basler, CEO of Greater Hartford Police Federal Credit Union. "The networking opportunity this conference provides is invaluable," he said.
