NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Baxter Credit Union is the 2007 recipient of CUNA Mutual Group's Roy F. Bergengren Award for High Achievement.
The award was presented today to the $1.2 billion credit union during a luncheon at CUNA Mutual's 2007 Discovery Conference here. The Bergengren award recognizes commitment to the self-help ideals and philosophy espoused by credit union pioneer Roy F. Bergengren, according to CUNA Mutual.
"It is indeed an honor to be recognized by CUNA Mutual as a credit union that has in some way served as a model for the movement and for fellow credit unions," said Michael G. Valentine, president/CEO of BCU.
