WASHINGTON — The House Committee on Small Business was scheduled to hold a hearing June 14 entitled "Strengthening SBA's Micro-lending Initiatives," to review the value of these initiatives to small businesses.
|Testimony was scheduled to be heard from Janet Tasker, deputy associate administrator for capital Access for the Small Business Administration; Lisa Servon, associate professor, Milano the New School for Management and Urban Policy; Daniel Betancourt, CEO of Community First Fund, speaking on behalf of the Association for Enterprise Opportunity; Elaine Edgcomb, director of the FIELD Study–The Aspen Institute; and Edward "Champ" Hall, owner of Champ Hall's Barber Shop and Barber College.
