MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Ascend Federal Credit Union has taken its branches to new heights with its latest branch.

Today the credit union serves members in more than 600 companies, and when a two-year study revealed that many potential members thought they had to work at Arnold Air Force Base to join, it was time for a name change.
