SAN DIEGO — Irene Oberbauer will succeed Rod Calvao as CEO of the $3.8 billion San Diego County Credit Union.

Oberbauer, who is currently chief operating officer, will take over on Aug. 1, 2007. She has been with San Diego County CU for 12 years.

Calvao announced his plans to retire last summer. Calvao has served as CEO the past 15 years. The CU was just $419 million in assets when he took over.
