WASHINGTON — Two more members have added their names to the burgeoning list of co-sponsors for the Credit Union Regulatory Improvements Act (H.R. 1537) with more to come, according to CUNA.
Congressman Wally Herger (R-Calif.), CUNA Senior Vice President of Governmental Affairs John Magill's old boss, is a new co-sponsor to the bill the year, while Congressman Al Wynn (D-Md.) re-upped with CURIA for the 110th Congress. These two bring the total co-sponsorship for the bill up to 88.
"We feel pretty darn good where we are today…" Magill commented. "We are all over the Hill, I can tell you that."
