WASHINGTON -- The Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council recently announced two new appointments to its State Liaison Committee.
NASCUS appointed Missouri Division of Credit Unions Director Sandra Branson to the committee, replacing Jerrie J. Lattimore from the Credit Union Division of the North Carolina Commerce Department, whose term expired. Branson will serve a two-year term through March 31, 2009. She has served as regulator and president of a credit union in the recent past.
Additionally, the American Council of State Savings Supervisors has appointed William B. Waits, assistant director of the Division of Banking in the New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance, to the committee.
The SLC serves in an advisory capacity to the FFIEC with the chairman as a voting member of the council.
