BOSTON — The first summer conference of the Credit Union Information Security Professionals Association will be held July 18-20 at the Omni Parker House Hotel.

The Credit Union IT Risk Management and Security Summit follows the three-year-old organization's national summit in January in its hometown of Austin, Texas. Conference highlights include sessions on best practices with industry professionals, networking with peers and keynote meetings with regulators from NCUA.

"Risk management is a priority for everyone in the CU industry now. By discussing the topics as a group, attendees can gauge their programs against others and learn what works and what doesn't," says CUISPA Executive Director Kelly Dowell. "Our decision to host a summer summit extends this valuable forum to a broader group that will benefit from the collaboration."
