GLASTONBURY, Conn. -- Leading Open Solutions' worldwide expansion efforts will be the responsibility of the newest member of the company's senior leadership team.
Former Equifax executive Rashid Desai has been named senior vice president and chief technology officer and will report to Louis Hernandez Jr., Open Solutions' chairman and CEO.
Desai will oversee worldwide product development efforts for Open Solutions, which already has made inroads into the Canadian market with its core processing and other solutions.
At Equifax, Desai was senior vice president of technology responsible for leading the development of business and consumer data products and platforms for B2B and B2C customers. He also led the company's establishment of software development centers around the world. Prior to that, Desai had led enterprise solution delivery at Fujitsu Consulting.
