OGDEN, Utah — Weber State Credit Union is helping area consumers take proactive steps against identity theft by hosting its third annual Shred-It day.

Shred-It day provides professional shredding services for community members free of charge. Members of the community can shred up to five boxes of documents at the event.

In conjunction with Shred-It day, and in celebration of its 50th anniversary, the credit union also hosted a classic car show, which showcased dozens of classic cars at its main branch.
