WASHINGTON — NAFCU Services Corporation President David C. Frankil announced that Kelly Nicklas has become the organization's director of marketing effective April 30.

"Kelly brings a great mix of strategic marketing skill and experience, including integrated campaign management for the segmentation, promotion, cross-sell and up-sell of over one million customers in her prior work experience," Frankil said.

Nicklas most recently served as director of marketing and corporate communications at Student Horizons, Inc., a marketing services firm in Bethesda, Md. Prior to receiving her MBA, she held marketing positions at Register.com, Doubleclick, Inc. in New York City, and Accenture in San Francisco.

"Kelly has a wide range of marketing experience and will work closely with our Preferred Partners to develop and implement strategic marketing plans that communicate the value of their solutions to NAFCU members," Frankil said.

Nicklas received an MBA from Wake Forest University, where she was awarded the Charles H. Babcock Merit Scholarship, and earned an undergraduate business degree in marketing (with a minor in computer information systems) from James Madison University.
