CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Michigan Schools and Government Credit Union took the opportunity during National Credit Union Youth Week to help promote safety awareness.

MSGCU youth members, ages 17 years and under met with local police officers, firefighters and paramedic personnel, while taking a tour of a rescue vehicle.

“As an educational credit union, we strongly believe in the power of education in furthering the goals of our youth. We are committed to promoting the importance of saving early, spending wisely and creating safety awareness in our community. We will continue to succeed in our efforts in promoting safety awareness with the help from volunteers from our local paramedics, police, and fire departments,” said MSGCU Chief of Operations Lisa Pionk.
