DOVER, Del. — Del-One, has teamed up with Document Security Inc., and Clear Channel to help area residents shred the possibility of identity theft.

The second annual Operation Delaware Shred, which lasted throughout the month of April, gives Delaware residents an opportunity to shred sensitive documents, such as credit card statements, financial statements, pre-approved credit card offers or old IRS tax forms.

With thieves sometimes stealing identities by combing through garbage for sensitive information, the credit union encourages people to use a crosscut shredder for all sensitive documents.
