PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Andera Inc. has passed muster with independent examiners who conducted an SAS70 Type II audit at the provider of integrated account opening tools.

The auditors from McGladrey & Pullen visited in March and evaluated Andera's internal control policies and procedures for protecting customer data.

SAS70 (Statement on Auditing Standards No. 70, Service Organizations) is a set of internationally recognized auditing standards used to assess the internal controls of a service organization.

A total of 12 interfaces with widely used core processing systems are now available and the company also released in 2006 an XML-based Web services interface to allow any third party to integrate with Andera's account opening platform.

The company also offers cross-selling tools and a platform which combines third-party risk, credit, debit and compliance data interfaces into a single decision model.
