VIENNA Va. — The Virginia Tech Memorial Fund, a fund established to help the victims and Virginia Tech community recover from last month's mass shooting, has received $5,000 from the $28 billion Navy Federal Credit Union.

"We are an institution that is part of an industry that exists through service and holding the best interest of our members as a priority," said Cutler Dawson, Navy Federal president/CEO. "Our contribution is a reflection of the values that we maintain to help others and to serve in times of need."
