LAS VEGAS — Member Business Lending, LLC has been awarded NACUSO's 2007 CUSO Collaboration and Cooperation Award.
The CUSO, which was founded in 2004 by $2 billion Mountain America Credit Union in Utah, was recognized for its strong business lending efforts including being the top Small Business Administration credit union lender in the country. MBL currently processes six out of 10 SBA loans in the country, according to Kent Moon, president of the CUSO. Credit unions in Utah have captured 50% of the business lending market, he added. MBL received NACUSO's honorable mention in 2006.
NACUSO also recognized Ongoing Operations, LLC with an honorable mention. Kirk Drake, president/CEO of the business continuity and disaster recovery CUSO, accepted the award.
