NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. — Innovation and collaboration, two of NACUSO's cornerstones, will be among the main themes at the group's annual conference this year.
The April 30-May 3 meeting will take place at the Wynn Las Vegas and will feature several keynote speakers: Nicholas Carr, an author and speaker, will present “The Prudent Innovator” at the May 1 general session. Author Michael LeGault will deliver the May 2 keynote address on critical thinking. Business Consultant Karen Purves will speak on May 3 on problem solving methods and other tools to spark innovative thinking. NCUA Vice Chairman Rodney Hood will keynote the evening session on May 2.
A number of breakout sessions will target investments, trust services, member business lending, technology CUSOs, insurance, building member relationships, payday lending alternatives and how CUSOs have helped small credit unions compete.
