HARRISBURG, Pa. — The Pennsylvania Credit Union Association and the Pennsylvania Credit Union Foundation have donated $2,000 to the Freedom First Federal Credit Union/Virginia Tech Memorial Fund.
In his letter to Freedom First FCU, which has served Virginia Tech since 1986, Foundation Chairman Ron Lasich, on behalf of Association Chairman Norb Kaczmarek, President/CEO Jim McCormack, and the board members of the association and the foundation, “expressed heartfelt condolences to the families and to the community, as well as sincere hope that they may find peace and solace in the future.”
Donations to the fund will be directed to the university's Hokie Spirit Memorial Fund.
