WASHINGTON — CUNA is the latest to donate to the Freedom FirstFederal Credit Union/Virginia Tech Memorial Fund.
“Certainly the tradition and hallmark of the credit unionmovement has been 'people helping people,'” said Dan Mica, CUNApresident/CEO. “At CUNA, we hope that this contribution will serveas a reminder that the movement is committed to these values, whilesharing them with the Hokie community as it begins healing andrecovering.”
The fund was established by FFFCU to support the recovery andrenewal process following last week's tragic shooting at VirginiaPolytechnic Institute and State University. Donations will bedirected toward the college's Hokie Spirit Memorial Fund.
