RALEIGH, N.C. — State Employees' Credit Union recently donated two Triumph at Kitty Hawk publications to each of North Carolina's 58 Community College media centers.

The publication, written by Thomas Parramore, tells of the Wright brothers' exploits at Kitty Hawk from a North Carolina perspective.

SECU purchased the books through the State of North Carolina's Department of Cultural Resources and originally sold the publication during a fundraising drive to help benefit patient programs at North Carolina's state mental hospitals.

In addition to this donation, SECU previously gave a copy of Triumph at Kitty Hawk to each of North Carolina's public middle and high schools.

"State Employees' Credit Union takes great pride in helping North Carolina's community colleges whenever possible. By donating these publications, we hope to assist the college media centers and provide additional resources for our state's community college students," said SECU Education Services Senior Vice President Leigh Brady.
