ATLANTA — Delta Community Credit Union has recently celebrated its 67th anniversary by hosting a party for Delta Air Lines employees.
The event was held at the Delta World Headquarters in the airline's historic hangar complex, which houses the Delta Air Transport Heritage Museum and "The Spirit of Delta", an airplane purchased by Delta employees in 1982 to help the company during an economic downturn.
Over 3,000 member-employees attended the three-hour party that included box lunches, live music and speeches by credit union and airline executives.
