WEST POINT, Va. — BayLands Federal Credit Union is deploying enterprise content management (ECM) software from Hyland Software Inc. to improve and integrate business processes across its three locations, the CU says. Chartered originally to serve employees of a local paper mill, BayLands (www.baylandsfcu.org) expanded to a community charter and began a search for an ECM system to better manage its information processes. It now uses Cleveland-based Hyland's OnBase system to import all documents–including applications, membership cards, invoices and loan files–and make that information, along with all member communication, available to employees through access rules set by the credit union.

The system from Hyland (www.hylandsoftware.com) also integrates with the CU's ULTRADATA core processing and Touch? Analyzer member relationship management systems from Harland Financial Solutions, the company says.
