RICHARDSON, Texas –Texans Credit Union recently teamed up with document shredding firm Recall to help members do some cleaning just in time for tax season.

Members and nonmembers alike were invited to take a proactive step against identity theft by shredding their personal papers and documents for free, courtesy of the credit union. Over 400 vehicles passed through the parking lot, shredding an estimated 12 tons of papers and documents. Another Texans Shred Day event is slated for April 21.
