BROOKFIELD, Wis. — Fiserv has acquired NetEconomy, a global provider of anti-money laundering, fraud prevention and compliance solutions to financials.

NetEconomy, based in The Hague, Netherlands, has 130 clients in 58 countries. It has offices in London, Paris, Boston, New York, Sydney, Shanghai, and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Its former owner was private equity firm Espirit Capital Partners.

Fiserv said NetEconomy's products would help it offer clients a holistic enterprise risk, compliance and fraud solution that can be integrated with Fiserv's core systems.
