GERMANTOWN, Md. — Mid-Atlantic Federal Credit Union has tapped CHI Centers as its latest Business Affiliate.
CHI Centers is a private, nonprofit organization dedicated to furthering the independence, self-reliance and dignity of individuals with developmental disabilities. Founded in 1948 by a group of dedicated, concerned parents who recognized the need to join forces with other parents of children with cerebral palsy to provide for the special needs of these children, CHI Centers serves some 1,000 individuals on a daily basis. The nonprofit currently has over 400 employees.
Mid-Atlantic FCU's Business Affiliate program is designed to help local companies in Montgomery County offer credit union membership as part of their benefits package. Positioned as a value-add for the employer, once becoming an affiliate, staffers can immediately take advantage of the credit union's services.
