LOS ANGELES -- ING is "banking on our future" through an expanded partnership with Operation Hope.

The financial services company has pledged a three-year commitment that includes a $750,000 financial investment, a $250,000 contribution for in-kind support and taps ING staffers as HOPE Corps members to further promote financial literacy.

Banking on Our Future is a financial literacy initiative established by Operation HOPE in 1996 to teach children the basics of managing their financial futures and surviving in a global economy.

The program is a winner of the Oprah's Angel Network Award and the U.S. Treasury Department's John Sherman Award for Financial Literacy Excellence and currently, it is the only national, year-round urban delivery platform for economic literacy in the country. To date, the program has educated more than 210,000 students across the country.
