MADISON, Wis. — Desert Schools Federal Credit Union Assistant Vice President of Human Resources and Training Jennifer Godel has recently been appointed to the executive committee of the CUNA Human Resources, Training and Development Council.
She replaces departing member Jodi Collien, director of human resources and employee development for Marine Credit Union in Fond du Lac, Wis.
The CUNA HR/TD Council consists of professionals dedicated to the promotion and advancement of human resources, training, and development professions in the credit union industry.

A 20-year veteran of the credit union movement, Godel has worked for the $2.7 billion credit union for 16 years.
Godel's many accomplishments include helping to guide her credit union through a period of rapid growth going from 500 employees and 14 branches to 1,200 employees and nearly 60 branches in less than 10 years.
According to Council Chair and Fort Worth Community Credit Union Vice President of Human Resources Tammy Trudelle, Godel's expertise, combined with her many years of experience in the credit union industry, "will be very beneficial to our members."
