SEATTLE — The 150,000 members and 15 branches of First Tech Credit Union will be relying on BioPassword Internet Edition to authenticate users via the rhythm of their typing.

BioPassword Internet Edition is designed to monitor and enforce authentication of online users based on a combination of the user's standard login credentials (user ID and password) without the need to purchase tokens, cards or other specialized hardware. Users can implement secure access and comply with regulatory requirements to help reduce fraud.

"Given our concentration of technically minded members, First Tech strives to provide the best and most innovative technology solutions on the market," said Joey Rudisill, CIO and vice president of IT at First Tech Credit Union. "We searched for a reliable security solution that also promoted accessibility and functionality. With BioPassword's software-only solution, we are providing an additional security layer without being intrusive to our members."
