NCUA Chairman JoAnn Johnson talked turkey about financial education recently as a guest on CUNA's Home & Family Finance Radio. She discussed the need for financial education with host Paul Berry (left) and the free educational resources available to consumers on www.mymoney.gov, the Web site created as part of the Bush Administration's National Financial Literacy Strategy. Johnson serves on the Financial Literacy and Education Commission, which developed the strategy, and chaired the subcommittee charged with creating the site. The segment will air Feb. 18 at 3 pm Eastern and can be streamed live on the Radio America Web site (www.radioamerica.org) or streamed or downloaded afterward via www.cuna.org. NCUA Director of Public and Congressional Affairs John McKechnie observed the exchange in the background.
