TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Credit Union 24, the only credit union-owned POS network, processed almost 200 million transactions in 2006, the network said. It also signed on 23 new CUs and saw a new one-month transaction record. CU 24 added that the month of December helped establish a new transaction record, showing more than 19.3 million transactions routed through the network–a near 10% increase over the previous monthly milestone, set in December 2005. The record month contributed to Credit Union 24′s overall increase in volume of nearly 10 million transactions over 2005.

"We've exceeded our expectations in nearly all our performance measures," said Credit Union 24 President/CEO James Park, "The network is growing, we're adding members and we're building value for our credit unions. When the network shows this level of stability and strength during an uneasy conversion year, it makes it all the more exciting to see how we'll do under our new pricing."
