WASHINGTON — The executive committee of the Credit Union Legislative Action Council of CUNA has confirmed 23 Trustees to serve two-year terms.
The state leagues offer nominations, CUNA Political Director Trey Hawkins explained, which are then confirmed by the executive committee. Approximately half of the states provide nominations every other year for consideration.
Trustees are responsible for governing the operations and promoting CULAC. "It's a great opportunity for people to step up and promote the PAC in their states," Hawkins said.
