OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. — The $31 million Credit Union One of Oklahoma has joined the Credit Union Service Corporation to participate in nationwide shared branching, the credit union has announced.

As a shared branching outlet, members from other credit unions can make a deposit, withdrawal, transfer funds or pay on a loan at a Credit Union One location. They can also purchase certified checks, make a loan advance and buy Traveler's Express money cards, the CU said.

"Credit Union One recognizes the need for more convenient credit union locations," William C. Lavin, Credit Union One president/CEO, said. "We want to encourage people to utilize the services their credit union offers, and by us becoming a service center outlet, we will allow thousands of people better access to their accounts."
