MIDDLETOWN, Pa. — Mid-Atlantic Corporate has had a number of technology developments of late.

The corporate has selected Green Armor Solutions to implement two-factor and mutual/site authentication for the online banking systems of its member credit unions. Green Armor Solutions will enable Mid-Atlantic's members meet new FFIEC and NCUA security guidelines. "We researched and evaluated authentication systems from over a dozen vendors, and found Green Armor's technology more compelling than those of competing firms," said Robert Frank, vice president of information technology at Mid-Atlantic. Green Armor Solutions' Identity Cues enterprise software products utilize a combination of psychology and technology tools to verify users.

In other news from Mid-Atlantic, its Remote Branch Capture program, launched in June, has 100 credit unions signed up and in queue for implementation. Thirty-seven credit unions are live and volume topped $150 million in November. Mid-Atlantic anticipates monthly item volume to be over 700,000 representing over $500 million once all CUs are live.
