WASHINGTON — Cyveillance, an online risk monitoring and management solutions provider, has teamed up with NAFCU Services Corporation to offer and promote Cyveillance's anti-phishing and online credit/debit card monitoring solutions.
In addition, NAFCU has tapped Cyveillance to strengthen its existing security measures for detecting and preventing phishing attacks on its own Web site.
"With more phishing attacks targeted at credit unions, members are looking for aggressive solutions to protect against potential member fraud," said NAFCU Services President David C. Frankil. "Cyveillance's ability to constantly monitor movement of compromised credit/debit cards and personal information–which is unique–was a major factor in their selection as a preferred partner."

Once it confirms a Web site as counterfeit, Cyveillance takes the necessary steps to quickly take down the site, eliminating the threat of identity theft and fraud to unsuspecting online consumers. Cyveillance can also provide credit/debit card monitoring services for credit unions to proactively identify stolen card and personal information being openly sold or traded on the Internet, minimizing losses due to credit card fraud.
"Because of their personalized relationships with their members, we are seeing credit unions take an aggressive stance in combating online fraud," said Panos Anastassiadis, CEO of Cyveillance. "Establishing a partnership with NAFCU ensures that we give local credit unions the necessary solutions to fight this growing problem while supplying NAFCU with the reputation protection it requires."
