CARLSBAD, Calif. — The 2006-2007 CUES board officers have been announced.
The board officers are as follows: Chairman–Citadel FCU Senior Vice President/Community and Government Affairs Carol Humenick; Vice Chairman/Chairman Elect–Altura President/CEO Mark Hawkins; Treasurer–Citizens First CU President/CEO Carla Altepeter; and Secretary–First South CU President/CEO Craig Esrael.
Other members of the CUES Board of Directors include: Immediate Past Chairman Rose Bartolomucci, president/CEO, Kent Credit Union; Director Dale Schumacher, president/CEO, Tampa Bay FCU; Director Frederick Healey, president/CEO, Workers' Credit Union; and Director Lary McCants, president/CEO, IBM Southeast EFCU.

FORUM Credit Union President/CEO Gary Irvin, past chairman and CUES Hall of Fame member, has submitted his resignation from the CUES Board of Directors effective immediately. He has one year remaining on his term of office. He has been on the board since 1998.
"I have very much enjoyed my time on the CUES Board these past eight years. Unfortunately, I have found it necessary to resign due to increasing business demands in my role as President/CEO of FORUM Credit Union, as we position ourselves in Central Indiana. I have served on a number of boards and this experience is certainly one of my most enjoyable and memorable–ever," said Irvin.
The Board will determine according to the bylaws what to do about the vacancy.
