ROMEOVILLE, Ill. — After 13 years of service, Marite Plume, president/CEO of Argonne Credit Union, has announced her retirement effective March 2, 2007.

Since joining ACU in 1994, Plume positioned ACU for growth by establishing a community charter and adding branch locations in three counties. Her most recent accomplishment includes the construction of a 22,000 square-foot main office. The credit union has $161 million in assets and serves more than 12,000 members.

The credit union said a search is currently underway to recruit a successor.
