COON RAPIDS, Minn. — The $100 million Anoka Hennepin Credit Union has signed up for a rewards only program that will offer members a cash back card that they can use locally to receive cash back from participating stores.

The VIP Cash Value card is not a credit or debit card, the CU said. Rather it is a free card that members can use to generate cash back for their purchases as well as for the Anoka Hennepin Educational Foundation.

The Foundation uses the money to support a variety of school programs for which tax dollars are not available, like updating books in the media centers, grants, leading outward bound type leadership programs and activity fees.
