SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. — For his efforts in helping minoritybusinesses, Maurice Calderon, senior vice president of minoritydevelopment at Arrowhead Credit Union, was recently recognized forhis work.

Calderon received the Ramon Alvarez Golden Eagle MinorityBusiness award from the Riverside Opportunity Center. The center'sannual Spirit of Greatness banquet recognized nine individuals whohave contributed in their professions and made a difference intheir communities. Calderon was honored for his businessachievement and contributions to the Inland Empire region ofSouthern California.
