LA HABRA, Calif. — American First Credit Union's first Latino Community Advisory Council meeting was a success according to all that attended. Prominent Latino community and business leaders provided valuable input on creating and improving financial products and services for Orange County's Latino community. Discussed at the meeting were plans designed to assist AFCU in identifying and planning social, cultural and educational activities in the community to increase the credit union's presence in the Latino market. The council will also review and evaluate their impact in the Latino community and present recommendations to the AFCU executive team on short- and long-term strategic initiatives for the Latino community.
