PITTSBURGH, Pa. — What better time than International Credit Union Day Week to kickoff a name change, conversion to a community charter and member appreciation week?

That's just what Allegent Community Federal Credit Union (formerly Allegheny County PA U.S. Government Employees FCU) did. Hundreds of credit union members participated in the weeklong event while the credit union collected over $500 in donations for the local veterans affiliated with the VA Pittsburgh Health Care System.

In addition, Allegent Community FCU opened over 100 new accounts for members–raising over $5 million in new deposits.
