ARLINGTON, Va. — NAFCU's Annual Conference & Exhibition is returning to Honolulu for its 40th anniversary. The likes of NAFCU President/CEO Fred Becker and Chairman John Milazzo will likely be caught at a luau or jamming out to "Help Me Rhonda" during the group's 40th Annual Conference & Exhibition scheduled for July 17-21, 2007 at the Hilton Hawaiian Village and Hawaii Convention Center. The NAFCU/PAC golf tournament will open the big event on Tuesday, July 17 and the event will be highlighted by a performance by Rock & Roll Hall of Famers The Beach Boys the evening of July 20. Photographer Dewitt Jones will be speaking at the event. Jones has filmed two movies nominated for academy awards and spent 20 years as a freelance photojournalist for National Geographic. He has shot advertisements for Dewar's Scotch, Canon, and United Airlines and published nine books. Dewitt's column, Basic Jones, appears monthly in Outdoor Photographer magazine. Economist Robert B. Reich, university professor and the Maurice B. Hexter professor of social and economic policy at Brandeis and its Heller Graduate School and former Secretary of Labor, will also provide an informative speech. He is a visiting professor at the University of California at Berkeley. He has served in several other university and government posts and published 10 books.
